Description
The numerous patterns and textures on this decaying section of tree trunk offer a glimpse at the textures and contrasts of patterns inherent in nature. I often go intyo woodlands looking for decaying trees to hunt for such images. The beauty if often seen within a matter of a few inches on the tree trunk and a macro lens or telephoto zoom lens magnifies the wonderful piece of wood.
